The Muskanippee Valley RR is a takeoff of the Conway Scenic RR. My ambition is to eventually create routes for Trainz, especially the old Boston, Revere Beach, & Lynn Railroad.Ībsolutely. I've been doing a lot of editing of my downloaded routes to bring them to current standards and to teach myself route building. Luckily in this case, the Placerville-New Philips fictional route fills the 2-foot railroading gap that I hoped the Sandy River route would handle. I was extremely excited to see that someone had made a Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes 2-foot route a while back, but after going through the hassle of downloading all the content from the DLS, and piecing together what I could find from googling the route and then downloading dozens of dependencies upon dependencies, the route turned out to be super-faulty and not worth the time it would take to fix, replace, and restore all the missing and misplaced scenic items. I've installed a great number of 19th century steam engines and stock that I've been excited to find, only for them to be marked as faulty with hopelessly missing dependencies, and therefore unplayable. Yeah, one of the greatest things about Trainz is its many years of custom-created content available on the DLS - but the downside is how very, very many of these assets are outdated and /or unplayable in the current game. Thank you for the recommendation! I've seen a bit about the Uintah route but haven't downloaded it yet.
